[LoL: Oh Yes And Spiders]

Outstanding.

All the pixel editing in this was just great. I can see from toying with flash a shitload myself that this was very fucking time consuming. I saw the entire thing and I went through all of the credits. This movie is good and you should feel good. :D

Only advice I must say is that assuming most people on newgrounds cannot sit still for an animation that's over 5 minutes (10min max probably) You should work on more but shorter animations. The quality of each animation is outstanding of course and I hope it's always done that well. But this felt almost like an actual TV show or something. It was just soo long xD

Not saying it's a bad thing, I actually enjoyed this a lot. But the majority would probably like a quick little video to where they are able to go back to, to view and such.

I'm not sure if you reply but I have a quick question about this. Was each sprite custom bitmaps and imported to the library and animated frame by frame. Or, did you get a pixel tool in flash and frame by frame edit without having to create multiple custom bitmaps in another image editing program.

Your friends that helped you did a great job with the assistance as well :P

Wow...

I really like the camera movement and such with the vcam. It was done really nicely. I'm just wondering if it was hard to find Russian voice actors... I wouldn't even know where to start to find them. Well, it's obvious you're extremely talented, the idea was great as well and overall this came out quite beautiful. I already watched this twice and I wouldn't mind watching it again if you're able to get the 14 mb version up. :P

Also I like the small jokes you added in that most people wouldn't really notice, such naming the chips "Lays" in the story to "Gays". You may influence quite a lot of highschool-ers ;D

It's still pretty good, but a 4.30?

It looks bad when you mix sprites from different games, like Sonic Advance + Sonic & Knuckles. Combining Sega Genesis games and GBA sprites turn out making the animation look weird.. The backgrounds looked pretty crappy compared to the characters. Also just using a black dot for a mouth is just a sign of laziness...

Overall it's still good but no where near worthy of a 4.30 score.

i'm not gona begin naming the number of great sprite flashes on NG that mix sifferent game styles and generations, ill just say that that's your personal opinion, and i respect that

[Goku V.S. Vegeta Preview]

Okay.. No

Don't submit previews to newgrounds, it's totally unnecessary unless it's something so epic I'd shit my pants like Power Star 5. Also, whats up with people taking Alvins Fx sprites? I saw maybe one sprite that hasn't been in Maple Ball Z the Fx is very overused and I just feel like vomiting on my screen. Also don't use Particle illusion. The shinyness and pretty effects may give an idiot a hard on but rarely can someone actually pull off using particle illusion well. I've only really seen Proxide with Sf vs Mk 3 pull off a good sprite video with particle illusion.

Overall the animation is pretty good and it'll prolly turn out to be an okay movie, the story line sucks and needs maybe a bit more story to make it a story. But it's fine I guess for a fight. Please don't submit previews, wasting newgrounders time.

I submitted the preview to see whether I should scrap the project altogether, or keep working on it as planned. I'm probably going to try my way to inject some story into there. I was kinda just summing up the fighting Goku and Vegeta had in the anime. Anyway, when you say "particle illusion" what do you mean? NVM, I googled it. If you are talking about the explosion, it was taken off of MUGEN.

First off the clouds are going so fast it's making them choppy, it just doesn't look good when it's that choppy if you really need it that fast increase the fps but I don't recommend it if you are at 24-30 fps as it is. I was still able to read the text but the speed is a bit fast for most people so slow it down, add back shadow to the text so it will be easier to read or simply just make chat bubbles in the maplesim simulator. The clouds when the jump up.. bad, they are not meant to be placed on top of each other, just side to side. the most effective way to probaly make clouds moving up is have the clouds zoomed in so it fills the whole screen, blur it a bit, then have it shake in a fast motion.. it takes practice to get it to look nice but it's a pretty effective way to make clouds move that way o.o;

Well you can animate fighting decently so I won't criticize on that much. at least you got fighting down pretty well :P

And of course one of the main reasons for the low score is the lenght of this, if the movie isnt great + it short + sprite, newgrounders just hate it. May be better off on youtube where everyone is nice, I dunno.

[Power Star 4]

I had the biggest fucking hard-on when I saw this.

Anyways, it really makes me sad this is your final sprite animation but what a hell of a way to end it. Must of been sad making that last keyframe to this movie just to know you are done after that. The ending was fantastic, not 1 single person would of been able to predict this end I bet. Thank you for taking your time on this also, it was pulled off beautifully and I was really impressed with the background work you did it was perfectly done. The voices were impressive too the Boo Possessed Mario voice was done a lot better then I'd prolly expect it to turn out. I'm getting sad knowing that there will be no one who can make a sprite animation at this level and every one who may have the ability to do it are quitting sprite animation. God damn I have too much to say you better be reading this review sometime D: *continues on with review* Well the menu looked beautiful you impressed me with that in power star 3 also lol a lot of people are too retarded too even make one I'm glad you are smart enough to make actionscript for one. Also like I said before, holy shit the backgrounds... most people may not even realize how much they effect the movie but I almost find a good background setting more important.. without it even good animation would eventually come out to shit, so bravo. And of course the animation you had was extremely nice, The only thing I'd prolly criticize you on is over blurring, but still overall beautifully done to even care. I usually don't like it when in sprite movies people add hand drawn effects such as the flames you used, but somehow you made it look nice. There was so much blood in this... (yay) Meh.... Isnt that annoying to animate? Well I'm sure this was worth all the work anyways. Hmm... Lets talk about the fight now :D (you: when the fuck will this guy shutup) Well I liked the music choice a lot for all of the scenes btw... The fight, your sound effects are used perfectly in this I believe, also I love the background destruction during the fight, like the ground all mashed, the building ripped apart... And I'm glad you included a sword fight, It wouldnt be Power Star without it ;D ... The end touched me a bit you pulled it off very well once again I'm impressed. ;P

Now the main reason why I wrote such a longass review was cause I know the first 2 Power Star's came out in 2005 then you felt somewhat like... forced/needed to finish up episode 3. And really I didn't expect this coming... I thought you may have gave up, I know I would have... I'm really glad you were able to finish it eventually in the end. People like You and Randy Solem I've looked up too, finishing up the series for your fans when there are so many people who hate sprites and stuff :P (lol Randy is an oldass animator no one remembers him D:) But yeah I dunno I felt like writing quite a bit on this sorry for wasting your time if you really do read through all these xDD

Nah I love long reviews. Those are the ones I tend to respond to. lol. It did take me along time to make. Whao. I've just been soo busy, and, as you said, there aint many Good sprite films out to modivate me. Makes me happy that you've enjoyed the Power Star series. It will be ma last sprite movies, but i've got alot more stuff coming the way which is better!

The movie looked really good, almost as if it was from the game it's self aside the few customs. xD It was really smooth, the idea was pretty original, overall it was great considering all the current sprite crap we get here is mainly horrible. Glad your back we are losing a bunch of sprite animators it seems =/
